About YLIT
Founded in 2017, Youth Leaders in Training (Y-LIT) is a youth led organization made of middle through high school students, and young adults with a focus on community service and giving back. Through Volunteerism, Advocacy, Mentoring and a Youth-led Giving Circle, Y-LIT volunteers have impacted dozens of communities in our respective regions.
YLIT seeks to create socially conscious leaders with a desire to give back to the community.
Our Impact
- More than 90% of YLIT Members hold leadership positions outside of the organization
- Nearly 500 Volunteer Service Hours Completed
- Y-LIT wins 2 nd Place in competitive 2019 Youth Entrepreneurship Competition sponsored by WETATi!
